A little bit
about me
I’m first-generation Filipino-American and fluent in Tagalog. However, I understand the language better than I can speak it. I love Filipino food. My top three dishes are sisig, sinigang, and lumpiang Shanghai.
I was born in Anaheim, California and grew up in the Orange County area. Moving to Arizona for grad school was the first time I lived outside of Southern California.
Disneyland is off Harbor Blvd in between Katella Ave and Ball Rd. Growing up, it was always just a short drive away.
My family and I live in Norman, a suburb of Oklahoma City that blends university life with small-town charm.
Our dogs
On the left is Corduroy, a Golden Retriever. She loves giving gifts and getting her paws muddy to track around the whole house.
On the right is Apache, a Bernedoodle. He is our goodest boy but also very much a velcro dog.
They both love to bark at anything and everything outside that makes a sound, no matter how faint.
